How the procedure is performed
Buttock contouring is performed under general anaesthesia and typically takes around two to three hours, depending on the technique. With fat transfer, Dr. Aksoy uses liposuction to harvest fat from areas such as the waist or abdomen, then carefully purifies and grafts it to reshape the buttocks. Implant-based options are planned where fat transfer is not suitable.
Recovery & timeline
A compression garment is worn, and direct pressure on the buttocks is limited during early healing. Most people return to desk-based work within about two weeks, with exercise reintroduced gradually from around six weeks. Swelling settles and the final shape refines over several months.
